Sunderland’s Lewis Grabban is reportedly a January transfer target for Aston Villa, who are looking for a new striker to help in their promotion bid.
Lewis Grabban is currently on loan at Sunderland from Bournemouth and the striker has already scored an impressive 11 goals for a struggling Black Cats side.
This fine form has caught interest of many teams from the Championship and the likes of Aston Villa and Fulham are now looking to sign the talented striker.
Aston Villa are believed to be especially invested in the transfer as they believe Grabban will be an ideal replacement for the injured Jonathan Kodjia.
It is believed that Villa are gauging a move for Grabban in the January transfer window but at the same time, are restrained by Financial Fair Play regulations.
This means that the promotion hopefuls will need to find creative ways to go around the rules and complete the signing of their much coveted target without breaching any regulations.
