Barnsley are reportedly keen on signing Swansea forward Oliver McBurnie and Mark Birighitti, according to HITC.
Barnsley ‘s interest in the former Bradford City player have been well documented for a long time and they are finally said to be in a position to pursue his services.
However, Swansea will only listen to loan offers for the player, as they see the forward as a part of their long term plans.
Barnsley might have to wait for some time to finalize the signing, as Swansea look to delay the move for the forward as they face a crisis in the position due to the absence of key players.
The Tykes are also reportedly interested in Swansea third choice keeper, Mark Birighitti on a season long loan. The former Newcastle Jets man didn’t make a single appearance for The Swans during his time at the Liberty Stadium and is reportedly keen on a move in order to earn more first team football.
Barnsley will hope to complete these signing as soon as possible as the Championship season is already underway. They will hope that these signings can help them to finish at the top half of the league table.
