Burnley are interested in signing Queens Park Rangers’ Nedum Onuoha during the January transfer window, according to Get West London.
Burnley have been impressing in the Premier League this season against all the odds and much to the surprise of many, the Clarets currently sitting in the seventh position in the Premier League table – competing for European places with the likes of Tottenham Hotspurs, Arsenal and Liverpool.
One of the main reasons for Burnley’s success this term has been their solid defense which has conceded only 12 goals so far this season; the second best record in the league.
However with Ben Mee and James Tarkowski the only quality center-backs at their disposal, the Clarets’ manager Sean Dyche is looking to sign a new defender to provide cover to aforementioned players and they already seem to have identified the ideal target.
It is believed that Burnley are looking to sign 31-year-old experienced center-back, Nedum Onuoha, from QPR in the January transfer window to help with their cause to finish as high as possible in the league.
