Cardiff City are interested in securing the signature of West Ham United forward Diafra Sakho in the January transfer window, according to reports.
Cardiff City are in the running for the automatic promotion places this season, with the Bluebirds currently sitting second in the English Championship table.
As a result of their fine early season performances, the Welsh side are regarded as one of the favorites to go up this season and while they have a huge opportunity of doing so, the Bluebirds still seem lack the adequate quality in the striking positions.
As a result, it is believed that Cardiff boss Neil Warnock is looking for a January move for West Ham’s Diafra Sakho in a bid to give his side extra attacking firepower.
Sakho has been one of the most regularly used substitutes for the Hammers but has not had many opportunities to start games and this might tempt the powerful striker to exit the Olympic stadium in the near future.
