Celtic FC could agree a deal for attacker with Sheffield United

According to reports from the Daily Record, Sheffield United are keen on signing attacker Gary Mackay-Steven.

Gary Mackay-Steven arrived to Celtic from Dundee United alongside Stuart Armstrong and while the latter went on to scale new heights last season, the former has arguably regressed.

Having fallen out of favour under Brendan Rodgers, Mackay-Steven made only 9 league appearances during the previous term and it is clear to see that the 26-year-old is currently surplus to requirements at Parkhead.

A number of clubs are interested in signing Mackay-Steven this summer and now according to reports from the Daily Record, revelations have been made that the attacker is being courted by newly promoted Championship outfit Sheffield United.
