Celtic FC’s £6million target wants Italy move

According to reports from the Chronicle, Celtic target Fabio Borini wants to make a move back to Italy this summer.

Following Sunderland’s disappointing relegation into the Championship, a host of their players are expected to leave this summer and one of the names certain to depart is striker Fabio Borini.

Borini is believed to have a £6million buyout clause written into his contract at the Stadium of Light, which is free to be activated now as Sunderland were relegated and Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers was believed to be keen on signing his former Swansea City attacker.

As a huge blow for Celtic though, reports from the Chronicle have claimed that Borini is not interested in a move to Celtic and is currently hopeful of earning a move back to his native Italy this summer.
