Celtic legend makes big admission about the future of Rangers FC defender Bruno Alves

Player turned pundit Chris Sutton believes Rangers defender Bruno Alves is looking for a move away from Ibrox stadium in the January transfer window.

Bruno Alves has been integral part of the Rangers side this season, with the defender being one of the few positives in what has been a tumultuous campaign for the Gers so far.

However, Alves might not stay with the fallen Scottish giants for much longer as there are already rumors suggesting that the veteran is looking for a move away from the Glasgow club.

It is believed that Alves is looking for one last big paycheck before retiring and this has led the 35-year-old to seek a move away from Ibrox in the January transfer window.

This news was further confirmed by ex-Celtic star Chris Sutton, who revealed that the player might indeed be looking for the move away from the Glasgow side.

He said, “Alves is an interesting one at the moment for me. He’s injured, but you can see him thinking ‘in January, I want off’.”

Alves is currently injured and this has affected the Scottish side’s performances, with the Gers experiencing back to back defeats in the Portuguese’s absence.
