Rubin Kazan manager Valeriy Chaly has launched a surprise dig at struggling Premier League giants Chelsea
Liverpool continued their renaissance under Jurgen Klopp after claiming a hard fought 1-0 victory over Rubin Kazan in Thursday night’s Europa League encounter and the three points means that the Reds stand a very good chance of making it into the Round of 32 of the competition.
The victory over Rubin, which has been followed up by an impressive 3-1 away triumph against Chelsea means that Liverpool’s recovery process is going very well.
Following the game, defeated manager, Valeriy Chaly, stated that Rubin Kazan could not cope with a quality side such as Liverpool but then went on to surprisingly take a dig at struggling Premier League giants Chelsea by stating that his side are at least better than the Blues.

Speaking to reporters following the game, Chaly said, “In the second half we looked more composed but we have a problem with the composition, so the young players had a chance.
“For them, it’s an experience. Liverpool are a good team and showed that against Chelsea – so, we are still better than Chelsea.”
Chelsea have endured a terrible start to their Premier League season so far and are currently languishing in 15th place in the table with only 11 points from as many matches.
