Sheffield Wednesday forward Gary Hooper has been touted with moves to the Premier League, with goal-shy teams such as Crystal Palace, West Brom and Brighton trailing the player.
Hooper was a major part of Neil Lennon’s Celtic side a few years, where he used to score for fun. During this time in Glasgow, the Englishman managed to get 63 league goals in 95 appearances and this sensational record made him one of the most wanted players across the border at England.
Despite being linked with some of the top Premier League clubs like Everton and Tottenham, the then prolific forward joined Norwich City in the summer of 2013.
However, this move to Carrow Road did not work out for Hooper as he struggled for goals and he had to drop down to the Championship to find his form once again.
Hooper has managed to get back to his goalscoring best after joining Sheffield Wednesday in 2015 and due to his recent revival, the ex-Celtic man is being trailed by a host of top flight English clubs.
Now, at 29, Hooper has an opportunity to make a mark in the Premier League yet again as the likes of Crystal Palace, West Bromich Albion and Brighton are said to be interested in signing the talented forward in January and it will be interesting to see where the attacker ends up this winter.
