Leeds United FC agree a deal for defender

According to reports from Italian media outlet Pianeta Empoli, Leeds United have agreed a deal to sell Giuseppe Bellusci to Empoli.

Leeds United have pulled off a major coup by securing the services of Giuseppe Bellusci from Catania back in 2014 and he enjoyed a fine start to life at Elland Road, establishing himself as a key figure in the Whites’ backline.

Bellusci seemed to be unsettled at the start of the current campaign though and decided to leave Leeds temporarily, joining Empoli on a loan deal over the summer.

Bellusci set for Leeds exit

Bellusci has done well during his time at Empoli so far and now according to reports emerging out of Italy, claims have been made that Leeds have agreed the permanent sale of the 27-year-old.

It is believed that Leeds and Empoli have agreed a fee of around £1.7 million and the transfer seems like a win-win situation for all the parties involved.
