Leeds United have reached an agreement for Japanese midfielder, Yosuke Ideguchi, and the move will go through in the January transfer window according to reports.
The Whites have reach an agreement for the promising Japanese midfielder with Gamba Osaka and the Championship side are expected make an announcement regarding the transfer in the near future.
Ideguchi is one of the most highly rated players in Asian football, with the midfielder catching the attention of teams from Europe due to his impressive performances for the Japanese national team in the World Cup Qualification.
Such exploits has made the 21-year-old one of the most sought after talent in Asia and according to Yahoo Japan, Leeds have beaten out a host of clubs in the race for Ideguchi’s signature.
Due to expected work-permit issues though, it is believed that Leeds are looking to send Ideguchi out on loan to a foreign European side and then apply once the youngster is eligible to play in England.
