Leeds United are scouting FC Gorningen forward Mimoun Mahi with the view of signing the player in January, according to the Express.
Mahi, who plays for the Moroccan national team, has catch the attention of a host of clubs across Europe with some impressive performances so far this season for Gorningen, netting four goals and assisting another in seven Eredivise appearances.
One of the many teams that have been attracted to Mahi is English Championship side Leeds United as they are currently looking into the market for a new forward after the Whites sold sell their talisman Chris Woods to Burnley earlier this summer.
The Peacocks have been recently searching for attacking options more intently in the Dutch league considering their success with Jay-Roy Grot and Mateusz Klich from NEC Nijmegen and FC Twente respectively this summer.
This means that the 23-year-old looks likely to be the latest player plying his trade in the Dutch league to join the Championship side, should Leeds be able to sign the player come January.
