According to reports emerging out of England, Championship outfit Leeds United are currently considering an ambitious move for Real Madrid attacker Martin Odegaard.

Since the appointment of Garry Monk as manager over the summer, Leeds United have turned into a force once again and currently stand a wonderful chance of earning promotion back into the Premier League.

It is clear to see that Leeds have been making tremendous progress on the pitch and the club are ready to take a step forward off it as well after it emerged that the Whites are currently plotting a move to bring in Real Madrid director of strategy Ivan Bravo.

If indeed Leeds’ pursuit of Bravo is successful, it is believed that the Championship outfit would be able to sign young players from the Spanish giants and the fans are certainly getting excited at such a prospect.

Odegaard touted for Leeds move?

Now to wet the appetite of the club faithful, reports emerging out of England have claimed that Leeds will be eyeing up an ambitious swoop to secure the services of Real Madrid youngster Martin Odegaard in January.

Odegaard joined Real Madrid in 2015 with the hype as the best young player in the world but he has struggled to live up to such a billing so far and has only made a total of two first team appearances.

At just 17, Odegaard still has a lot of time to develop and it is now widely expected that the Norwegian international will be sent out on loan during the upcoming January transfer window, with French side Rennes said to be leading the race.

Now even Leeds have emerged as shock contenders to sign Odegaard and it will certainly be interesting to see if the Championship outfit are able to lure the wonderkid to Elland Road this winter.
