Liverpool FC are interested in signing young Wolverhampton Wanderers’ midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White in the January transfer window, according to HITC Sports.
Morgan Gibbs-White was one of the key members of the England U-17 squad which recently won the World Cup in India, with the midfielder even scoring in the final against Spain.
The young midfielder displayed great promise during the tournament and put himself in good footing with some top managers in English football.
One of those teams interested in the youngster are believed to be Premier League giants Liverpool, who are said to rate the midfielder very highly.
The Reds might even be tempted to make a big money bid for the youngster during the January transfer window if they fail to sort Emre Can’s contract in time.
Although Gibbs-White got opportunity to feature for Wolves under the previous management of Paul Lambert, the youngster hasn’t enjoyed similar luck under the new management of Nuno Espirito Santo and it will be interesting to see if is willing to take a leap to Liverpool.
