Premier League side Liverpool are ready to splash the cash to secure the services of Monaco wonderkid Thomas Lemar
Liverpool have made a lot of progress since the arrival of Jurgen Klopp as manager over the summer but in order to turn the Reds into genuine title contenders next season, one can be sure that the German manager will have to bring in a couple of new players to Anfield to improve the squad.

Now in fresh links, it has been reported that Klopp is considering a move for Monaco star Thomas Lemar. Monaco have polished a lot of talented young stars in recent times and Lemar is certainly the latest player to make a mark at the Stade Louis II.

Lemar joined Monaco from Caen in 2015 and the young midfielder has managed to make a mark for the first team during the current campaign, scoring 5 goals as well as providing 5 assists in 31 appearances so far.
Therefore, Lemar has been attracting the interest from a number of top clubs across Europe and Liverpool have recently been mentioned as the team leading the race to sign the 20-year old.
In order to land the services of Lemar though, it is expected that Monaco will be demanding the big bucks and Liverpool are expected to splash as much as £59million to sign the French Under-21 international.
