It has been widely reported that Jose Mourinho will be arriving as the manager of Manchester United next season and some have even gone as far as claiming that the deal between the Red Devils and the 53-year old has already been agreed.
No official word has be released though and now according to reports from the Independent, it has been claimed that Mourinho is yet to receive an offer from United as of yet.
While Mourinho clearly wants the job at Old Trafford, United could potentially miss out on the services of the former Chelsea boss to Valencia in fresh developments which is sure to worry the Premier League giants.
United to miss out on Mourinho?
Valencia recently sacked Gary Neville following a terrible run of form and Los Che are looking to swiftly appoint a replacement for the Englishman.
Club owner Peter Lim is said to have identified Mourinho as his main man and it is being claimed that the Valencia chief has already convinced the Portuguese boss to take over at the Mestalla.
Mourinho is likely to be receiving a whopping £15million-per year deal if he chooses to join Valencia and Lim has reportedly promised to hand the prospective new Valencia manager a whopping £100million transfer war chest to spend during the upcoming summer.
