English giants Manchester United are plotting a surprise bid to sign Eden Hazard from rivals Chelsea in the near future, according to reports emerging out of England.
Hazard is into the final two years of his current deal at Chelsea but as he recently rejected a new deal offered by Chelsea, this has given rise to speculation linking the Belgian with an exit from Stamford Bridge.
For a long time, Real Madrid have been regarded as the most likely destination for Hazard but in recent weeks, Premier League giants Manchester United have reportedly joined the race and are currently trying their best to land the winger.
While Hazard would be a fantastic signing for United, considering how cold the relation between Red Devils’ manager Jose Mourinho and his former club Chelsea, the move for Hazard might be little farfetched to consider even though Nemanja Matic arrived at Old Trafford from the Blues this summer.
It will be interesting to see this transfer story develop as Hazard has been previously linked with United, during his time at Lille, and his arrival could help the Red Devils challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title in the coming seasons.
