The trio of Marouane Fellaini, Marcus Rashford and Ander Herrera are close to finalizing contract extensions with Manchester United, according to reports from Team Talk.
Fellaini, Rashford and Herrera have arguably been among the most influential players at Old Trafford over the past few seasons and as a result, United are looking to reward them with new contracts.
Due to their committed performances on the pitch, the trio have managed to earn a special attachment with the fans and in news that will come as a big relief to United, the three players are now close to signing new long term deals at Old Trafford.
Rashford has burst into the scene over the last 18 months to be regarded as one of the most exciting young talents in English football while the duo of Fellaini and Herrera have consistently performed for United, even when results on the pitch were not very rosy.
Manager Jose Mourinho clearly values Rashford and Fellaini very highly while even Herrera, who has not featured regularly this season, is expected to play a key role in United’s campaign this season and handing out contract extensions to the trio is certainly a sensible course of action.
