Manchester United set to cut short Adnan Januzaj’s loan spell at Borussia Dortmund during the January transfer window
Januzaj was allowed to leave Manchester United on a season long loan deal to Borussia Dortmund by manager Louis van Gaal during the summer and it was believed at the time that the move would be a beneficial one for the winger as he would be awarded regular minutes on the pitch.
Unfortunately though, Januzaj’s time at Dortmund has not been a fruitful one so far as he has been afforded only 139 minutes of action in the German Bundesliga by manager Thomas Tuchel.
Januzaj will be making a return to United in January
Understandably, United are not happy with the minutes or the lack of it provided to Januzaj by Dortmund and now according to reports from the Daily Mirror, the Red Devils are considering cutting short the winger’s loan spell at the Signal Iduna Park.
United themselves are keen on adding options in the wide positions due to the disappointing form of star signing Memphis Depay and as a result, van Gaal wants to bring back Januzaj to Old Trafford.
Januzaj is a popular figure among the Manchester United faithful and his return will surely be welcomed by the fans.
