Munir El Haddadi could well be following in the footsteps of former teammate Gerard Deulofeu by joining Premier League side Everton
Munir El Haddadi burst into the scene for Barcelona last season and many felt that the young man could well become the next superstar emerging from the Spanish giant’s famed La Masia academy.
However, El Haddadi’s form dipped dramatically during the latter part of the season and the youngster has since struggled to get himself into the first team on a regular basis.
Even during the absence of Lionel Messi during the current campaign, El Haddadi has been limited to only 379 minutes of action in La Liga so far this season.
El Haddadi could be set for Everton move
El Haddadi is said to be getting a bit frustrated with the lack of playing time coming his way and is now considering a temporary move away from the Nou Camp.
Now according to reports emerging out of Spain, it has been claimed that Premier League side Everton could well be a possible destination for El Haddadi.
Everton manager Roberto Martinez has a good working relationship with Barcelona and the Spaniard managed to agree a deal for Gerard Deulofeu to Goodison Park over the summer.
It has now been claimed that Martinez is also interested in a deal for El Haddadi and will be making his move for the 19-year old during the January transfer window.
Everton are keen on signing El Haddadi on a permanent deal but Barcelona will be placing a buyback clause into the contract, similar to the one in Deulofeu’s transfer during the summer.
