Newcastle United are believed to be looking to sell no less than six players during the January transfer window with the likes of Karl Darlow, Freddie Woodman, Jack Colback, Chancel Mbemba, Dwight Gyale and Aleksander Mitrovic all believed to be put on the transfer list.
Newcastle are hoping to make some serious changes in their squad by letting go of some dead weights in the squad and replacing them with useful players who are more fitting for the Magpies’ squad.
As a result, Newcastle are looking to make six players available for transfer this January, with the likes of Karl Darlow, Freddie Woodman, Jack Colback, Chancel Mbemba, Dwight Gyale and Aleksander Mitrovic all listed for a transfer by the club.
While some names in this list are unsurprising and expected to leave, the alleged availability of Dwight Gayle and Chancel Mbemba that has caught many supporters and pundits off guard.
Despite not featuring regularly for the Magpies this season, many believe that the duo of Gayle and Mbemba will have to play important roles in ensuring Newcastle’s avoid relegation this season and it will be surprising to see the duo leave St. James’ Park in January.
