As suggested by HITC, Newcastle United are looking at the possibility of signing on-loan Sunderland winger Adnan Januzaj.
Adnan Januzaj was hailed as the next big star to emerge from the Manchester United academy after breaking into the first team back in 2013 and the Belgian international certainly managed to impress many with his performances.
However, Januzaj has failed to match the hype that surrounded him a few years ago and the 22-year-old currently finds himself struggling to perform for Sunderland.
With Januzaj having failed to impress at the Stadium of Light, parent club Manchester United are said to be ready to offload the youngster next summer and it will be interesting to see where he will end up plying his trade.
Januzaj heading to Newcastle?
A number of French clubs such as Lyon, Marseille, Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco have all reportedly expressed an interest in signing Januzaj and now according to reports, even Newcastle are considering a shock move.
Newcastle are expected to be earning promotion into the Premier League next season and manager Rafael Benitez is already looking at options to improve his squad.
Signing attacking players will be high on the agenda for Benitez and Januzaj is believed to be one of the players the Spanish manager is considering making a move for.
