Player hopes of returning to Leeds United FC after transfer window reopens

Ouasim Bouy, who is currently on loan at Cultural Leonesa from Leeds United, reportedly wants to return back to Elland Road due to a failure to get first team opportunities in Spain.

Bouy moved to the second tier of Spanish football this summer in hopes of earning more first team opportunities but so far, he has failed to do so at Cultural – having played for a grand total of only 133 minutes for the Spanish minnows.

The young midfielder has been left out of the first team more often than not and is clearly not in the plans of his current manager Cultural Rubén De la Barrera Fernández.

This lack of first team opportunity seems to have left the 24-year-old very frustrated and the young midfielder is now looking to return back to Leeds as soon as possible as he looks to revive his stalling season.

While a return to Elland Road might seem the ideal move for the Dutchman at the moment, it looks unlikely that the 24-year-old will receive first team opportunities at Elland Road as well.

This is due to the fact that the 24-year-old does not quite seem to be of the same class of the players that the Peacocks currently possess.

Leeds are a team that are desperately seeking a promotion from the Championship and given Bouy’s struggles in Spain, he may not get an opportunity for Thomas Christiansen’s high flyers.
