Spanish giants Real Madrid are considering a shock £64million move for Manchester United flop Memphis Depay
Depay joined Manchester United over the summer and many were certainly excited at the prospect of seeing the winger in action, especially after his wonderful exploits with PSV Eindhoven’s title winning side during the prior campaign.
As it has turned out though, Depay has looked a shadow of the player he was at PSV during his time at United so far and along with poor performances, the young winger is said to have irked the United hierarchy with his attitude as well as flashy lifestyle.
In addition, Depay has been left out of the Netherlands national team as well following accusations from manager Danny Blind that the 21-year old is not a team player.
Depay set for Real Madrid move?
Due to such a difficult start to life in Manchester, fans are already fearful that Depay could potentially throw away his immense potential while a swift exit from Old Trafford for the young winger has also been seen on the cards.
Now according to reports from the Daily Telegraph, Depay could indeed make a move away from United as Spanish side Real Madrid have surprisingly expressed their interest in signing the Dutchman.
With superstar Cristiano Ronaldo being touted with a move to Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid are looking for a new wide player and are said to be planning a baffling £64million move for the youngster.
