Davide Santon could be set for a return back to the Premier League with Watford, according to reports emerging out of Italy
Following a successful spell at Newcastle United, Santon made a move back to Inter Milan in January 2015 and many believed that the defender could boost his chances of earning a place back into the Italian national team as a result of the transfer.
Unfortunately though, Santon has perhaps further hampered his chances of earning international reckoning as the full back has struggled to earn regular first team football at the San Siro following his return to Inter.
Santon set for Premier League return
Santon has been limited to only 11 appearances in total during the current campaign by manager Roberto Mancini and it is widely expected that the 25-year old will be leaving Inter at the end of the season.
Now according to reports emerging out of Italy, Santon could potentially set for a return back to the Premier League during the summer.
Claims are being made that Santon is being courted by Watford and that there is a strong possibility of the move coming into fruition as all three parties are said to be willing to facilitate the transfer.
