West Ham United linked with Swedish International

West Ham United have reportedly registered an interest in signing winger Jiloan Hamad from Swedish Allsvenskan side Malmo FF. The 22-year-old is the club captain for the Swedish side and helped the club into the qualifying rounds of the Europa League last season.

It is believed that the Swedish International is looking to move to a bigger club after spending 6 years at Malmo. West Ham United has been touted as a potential destination for the winger as the Hammers’ manager Sam Allardyce is looking to strengthen his side after last season’s top ten finish in the Premier League.

Hamad joined Malmo FF from BK Forward in 2008 and quickly established himself as an important member of the side as a young player. He has gone on to make 139 appearances for the side in his 6 years at the club. He has also been capped 6 times by the Swedish National Team.

West Ham have been linked to several big names such as Marko Arnautovic, Salomon Kalou and Emmanuel Emenike in recent weeks. So far Sam Allardyce has brought in Daniel Whitehead from Stockport, Andy Caroll from Liverpool, Adrian from Betis and Razvan Rat from Shakhtar Donetsk to the Boleyn Ground.
