Wolverhampton Wanderers have decided to hire former Manchester United staff member Andrew Friday and former Barcelona scout Miguel Rios, according to reports.
Wolves are undergoing a massive overhaul this season, with the Midlands side experiencing a high turnover of staff members in last couple of months – in addition to the influx of top quality players to Molineux.
Now it can be revealed that the Wanderers have made some eye-catching acquisition in the backroom staff as well by hiring the likes of Andrew Friday and Miguel Riosboth of whom have impressive CVs, having been employed by the likes of Manchester United and Barcelona respectively in the past.
Friday has been hired from the Red Devils to fulfill the role of the club’s new performance analysis chief while Rios has been signed from Fulham as a member of the scouting team.
Both addition marks a change in drastic approach for the Championship side, who until recently were struggling in the obscurity of the Championship midtable.
Wolves are currently leading the standings and are regarded as the favorites to get promoted to the Premier League this season. All this success has been possible due to smart investment on the part of club hierarchy.
