Premier League outfit Liverpool are on the verge of signing Leeds United star Charlie Taylor, according to reports

Following Alberto Moreno’s horror show in the final of the Europa League last month, Liverpool have been actively seeking to sign a new left back this summer.

A host of names have been mentioned as potential targets for Liverpool over the past few weeks and now a new candidate in the form of Charlie Taylor has emerged.

Taylor is currently plying his trade for Championship outfit Leeds United and he enjoyed a fantastic campaign last term even though he was playing in a struggling side.

As a result, the young left back has been targeted by a number of Premier League outfits such as Stoke City and Crystal Palace.

According to recent reports from England, it has been claimed that even Liverpool have joined in the race to sign the Leeds United star.

Taylor will be entering the final year of his contract at Leeds during the upcoming campaign and revelations have been made that Liverpool will be able to sign the 22-year-old for as little as £2 million.
