Sheffield Wednesday are on the verge of securing the services of Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Rohan Ince, according to reports from the Daily Mirror (as cited by HITC)
Rohan Ince was regarded as one of the most promising young midfield players around in the Championship last season but rather than pushing on during the current campaign, the 23-year old has arguably regressed.
Ince has been limited to only 232 minutes of action on the pitch by manager Chris Hughton and having not made a single start since October, it is clear to see that the midfielder does not feature in the long term plans at the Falmer Stadium.
The recent arrival of Steve Sidwell has pushed Ince further down the pecking order and the former Chelsea man needs a move away from Brighton in order to avoid stagnating in his career.
Given his talent, there are plenty of clubs who are interested in securing the services of Ince and it can now be revealed that Sheffield Wednesday are planning a swoop for the midfielder in the next few days.
Wednesday manager Carlos Carvalhal is keen on bolstering the midfield in a bid to boost his side’s promotion aspirations and it is believed that the Portuguese manager is hopeful of landing Ince on a loan deal till the end of the season with a view to a permanent transfer.
