Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool planning a swoop for Leicester City star Jamie Vardy
Leicester City have enjoyed a stunning start to their season and following a 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace during the weekend, the Foxes have moved into 5th place in the Premier League table with 19 points from 10 matches.
It has certainly taken a team effort for Leicester to enjoy such a brilliant start but arguably the star man for the Foxes has been striker Jamie Vardy.
Vardy scored the winner during his side’s 1-0 victory over Palace and the Englishman now has a stunning 10 goals to his name already, leading the goalscorers chart in the Premier League.
As a result, Vardy has been garnering attention from a host of clubs and it can now be revealed that giants Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool will be battling it out against each other to win the services of the 28-year old upon the reopening of the transfer window in January.
Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri has repeatedly insisted that he will not be selling Vardy at any price anytime soon but Spurs and Liverpool are hoping to tempt the Foxes into considering negotiations by placing a bid in excess of £15million.
